Our Mission
The mission of the Economic Empowerment Program at Koinonia Community Solutions is to equip underserved populations with resources that enhance their knowledge, expand access to opportunities and services, and strengthen their labor capacities and skills. By doing so, we aim to empower individuals to achieve stability while improving their living conditions and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Our vision is to create a thriving, self-sustaining community where individuals from underserved populations are empowered with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities necessary to achieve economic stability and personal success. We envision a future where all individuals have access to the resources and support, they need to improve their living conditions, contribute meaningfully to society, and enjoy an elevated quality of life.

A New Direction Local Reentry Council (ANDLRC)
Focused support for individuals reentering the community.
Financial Literacy
Offering financial education, in collaboration with Koinonia Housing Department, to help individuals manage finances effectively.
Supporting Employability
Soft skills development, resume building, mock interviews, and job search assistance for everyone. Special training designed for first-time job seekers, specialize coaching for students.

Access to our calendar of key training events in the region, registration, and promotional flyers.
Referrals to Community Services & Event Providing Supplemental Assistance Resources
Connecting individuals with essential resources and services in Eastern NC.
Youth & Adult Education Apprenticeships (COMING SOON)
